Black-Eyed Pea Seeds from Survival Garden Seeds offer a dependable, warm-season crop that’s both nutritious and easy to grow. Technically a variety of cowpea, these plants thrive in hot climates and are well known for their ability to fix nitrogen—making them an excellent choice for improving poor or depleted soils. A staple of Southern cuisine, Black-Eyed Peas are enjoyed fresh or preserved through canning, freezing, or drying for long-term storage.

Nutritious, Versatile, and Rich in Tradition:
Black-Eyed Peas have long been valued for their hearty flavor and impressive nutritional profile, offering plant-based protein, fiber, and essential vitamins. Popular in classic Southern dishes, they pair wonderfully with greens, rice, and stews. Many families enjoy them on New Year’s Day as a symbol of luck and prosperity. Whether used fresh from the garden or added to emergency food stores, they deliver both flavor and nourishment.

Reliable and Heat-Loving Plants:
Adapted to warm climates, these cowpeas perform especially well in the Southern United States. Their natural tolerance to heat and poor soil makes them a resilient choice for low-maintenance gardens. As nitrogen-fixers, they also help improve soil health, making them a smart rotation crop for long-term garden productivity.

Why Customers Love Black-Eyed Peas:

  • Thrives in hot, sunny climates with minimal care
  • Adds nitrogen to the soil, improving fertility for future crops
  • Highly nutritious, with protein, fiber, and essential vitamins
  • Versatile for fresh eating, canning, freezing, or drying
  • Traditional Southern favorite with deep cultural roots

How to Grow:
Sow seeds outdoors after the last frost, once the soil has warmed. Choose a full-sun location with well-drained soil. Water regularly during early growth, then reduce watering as plants mature, as cowpeas are naturally drought-tolerant. Harvest pods when peas are plump for fresh use, or allow them to dry on the plant if storing for later.

Nice tire sealant.
Size: 32 oz
This seems to work very well. I will say that it seems to be pretty important to move the wheel around as soon as you can to distribute the product within the tire. I was held up for a few minutes and the Liqui tube seemed to start to set up in one spot and made the tire out of balance so I had to work quick to get it to distribute to the other parts of the tire. It seems to have worked though and so far the tires are holding air very well. I will be interested to see if it lasts for a long time but so far so good.

This stuff works!
Size: 32 oz
I was sceptical but wanted to avoid replacing 2 rear tires on my zero turn mower. The tires were leaking air and had bad sidewall cracking. I found the use of the product to be easy and quick. I aired up the tires and rode around the yard a few minutes to distribute the product in the tires. It has been 4 days and both tires remain aired up. Previously both tires would already be flat within this timeframe. Excellent results for me!

Doesn’t work for a car Tire seal slow leak
Size: 16 oz
Does not work for a car tire. Had a slow rim seal leak. Out 32oz in still leaks the same. Do not buy. I got the one with fibers in it. It worked just fine. This does not work. Period. $30 wasted actually I purchased two so I wasted $60 when I could’ve bought probably a new tire

#1 Tire Repair
Size: 16 oz
This stuff is Fantastic. I have a riding lawn mower and one of the front tires, which is small, had been running low for a couple of years, we took it off. to fill it with the liquiTube and you could see cracks all around the outside of the tire. The liquid tube oozed out of one of the cracks and sealed , immediately. My brother rolled the tire around real good before we put it back on the track lawn mower. It has been 3 days now and today I mowed for 1 1/2 hrs and the tire as full as it was the day we put in the LiquiTube. This stuff is fantastic, it really, really works!
